Excellence Advantage Inspirations
Quarterly Summary

With the first quarter of the year coming to a close, I’m sending this recap for you.

Perhaps there was an article that you set aside to read, and then it slipped by. No problem, here’s a brief synopsis of my articles from the last quarter so you can find the one you wanted to read, re-read, or take action on.

Consider which questions at the end of each article can prompt your next actions.
I welcome the opportunity to write an Excellence Advantage Inspiration with you and your goals in mind, so please drop me a note if there is a topic you’d like me to write about in an upcoming edition.

What Is Your Story?
What is the story that you wish to tell?

What is the legacy you wish to leave… in your life? in your organization? through your life’s work?

Where Are Things Stuck
Where are things stuck? What is causing the blockage?

When we are experiencing blockages, stagnation, a log jam, what we are seeking is FLOW. How do we break open the block?

Consider a systems perspective.

Identify your Focus Area
What are your top organizational priorities for the year? To be most successful in accomplishing these priorities, what aspects of your leadership could also use improvement or fine-tuning?

As we seek to advance key organizational goals, it often requires that we simultaneously pursue personal leadership improvements to ensure we can deliver what is required.

Your Story from a 360 Perspective
Without a broader 360° perspective, we risk selecting an area for personal improvement that is not viewed as important by those we lead or those we work with most closely.

There are many ways to gain this 360 perspective.

Strategy Execution!
How do you set your strategic direction? Do you consistently deliver? Are you producing the improving results you need?

This white paper is a compilation that offers guidance for these questions and more.

Where To Go From Here?
Situation Analysis: You are the leader of an organization. You’re a few years into your role. Yet, everywhere you look things are just average, or even below average. And you are a few years into it! What to do?
